Jim Switzer, President & Chief Executive Officer, is pleased to announce the addition of two Branch Managers, Lynn Bone – Branch Manager Brampton, and Vikki Valois – Branch Manager Bradford.

“We are extremely proud to introduce Lynn and Vikki as our newest Branch Managers” said Switzer. “They complete our Branch Management team for the upcoming school year in Peel and Simcoe”.
Switzer-Carty was successful in the Simcoe and Peel transportation bids and as a result has expanded from a single operating location to three operating locations for next school year.
Lynn has over 23 years’ experience in the school bus industry performing numerous roles including driver, Branch Safety Manager, and Branch Manager. Lynn has exceptional experience in setting up new locations and project management as she assisted in the start-up of multiple US and Canadian locations to meet operating standards and policies while with Stock Transportation. Lynn has managed large complex branches with many years’ experience successfully managing in the Peel region where she is very highly regarded for high levels of customer service.
Vikki has over 15 years’ experience in the school bus business with Laidlaw/First Student Canada. Vikki began her career as a school bus driver and moved into a Safety Manager role. Vikki’s leadership potential and willingness to learn opened opportunity for Vikki to become part of the Manager in Development diploma leadership program at Laidlaw in which she graduated as the valedictorian. Upon graduation Vikki’s leadership and hard work earned her promotions to Assistant Branch Manager and ultimately the role of Branch Manager. Vikki has a passion for continuous learning and takes on challenges with an approach to create win/win solutions. Vikki is very familiar with Simcoe County Student Transportation as she most recently was a Branch Manager for First Student in Barrie.
