Jim Switzer, President & Chief Executive Officer, is pleased to announce that Karen O’Marra has joined Switzer-CARTY Transportation as Branch Manager for the new Mississauga Branch.

“We are very excited to add Karen to our team” said Switzer. “She has a wealth of pupil transportation experience both as an operator and school board Business Manager and is known as a tremendous leader in the industry.”
Karen started in the school bus industry in 1986 and quickly progressed to management roles throughout the Halton and Hamilton regions including special needs transportation while in Hamilton.
Karen is leading the special needs transportation side of the Mississauga Branch and ensuring the parents and students with special needs enjoy the highest level of service and attention. Switzer Carty recently was successful in the Peel RFP process and is expanding our service in Mississauga starting in September 2013.
“I look forward to this new opportunity and in working with drivers, staff and technicians in delivering a wonderful service to the parents and students in Peel region,” said O’Marra.
